About me
Hi, I’m Molly Basham, I am the Early Learning Mathematics Specialist for the Utah State Board of Education. I come to this roll with a background in preschool and elementary education having taught PreK, kindergarten, second, and fourth grade during my time as a classroom teacher. Prior to becoming a board specialist, I also worked in Curriculum Design and adult learning. I am deeply passionate about math education and dream of building an elementary mathematics culture in which all teachers are excited about and confident in their ability to create powerful mathematics experiences so that students are empowered to be mathematical thinkers and doers.
