About me
I am a 17-year professional educator for Alpine School District. Currently, I am an Elementary Math TSA. My passion is PLCs. I know what it takes to get results. The years I have spent teaching have provided me with valuable skills and knowledge in best and current educational practices. As a Math TSA, I have loved my opportunities to work with adults and young people. Working closely with fellow Curriculum TSAs, I am trained in the best practices in math, reading, writing, and integration strategies for art, science, and social studies. One of my many talents was working with difficult students. I have a real knack for helping students feel safe and to grow in all aspects of their learning. Working as a Math TSA, I have been able to see the dedication and the multiple perspectives that lend themselves to creating a great school, which promotes effective instruction. I have met with many educational leaders in the West Division and throughout the District as they make hard decisions. From those learning opportunities, I know that to be a successful instructional leader, I must combine the talents and needs of the community, students, teachers, and district. My diverse experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping teachers develop traits and practices that will result in lasting student achievement.
