About me
Hi! My name is Katherine Vela, I’m in my fourth year as an Assistant Professor at Utah State University! I enjoy engaging students in mathematics so they can find their passion and love it as much as I do! I’m currently a Co-Pi for a USDA grant, where we are working with local schools in Price and Logan to install gardens and develop STEAM garden-based curriculum to engage teachers and students in the beauty of gardening!
