About me
This years marks my 18th year in education, and my fourth year working as a secondary math coach in SLCSD. I have a penchant for project-based learning, hiking, camping, and anything that makes my toddler laugh. I came to Utah in 2018 from South Carolina with my husband and dogs. I earned my B.S. in mathematics, my Masters of Teaching, and my Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina. I am a National Board Certified Teacher, Knowles Senior Fellow, 2017 PAEMST recipient, and currently serve as the SLC Rep on the UCTM board. I enjoy spending time outdoors, my SLC community, and working with students and teachers.
